Battle of the 16 BIT

what is a 16 bit ????

basically the more "bit" that you have the more space or memory you have and the amount of power with it as these were the two leading consoles in the whole of the games industry and the pads that you play with were very dynamic and were hand-held other than the other big machines that were used to play pong on.

the image above is a "SNES" or super nintendo entertainment system this along with the Sega mega drive were the best sellers and were kind of battling to win more sales over the other

thse big games for the segamegadrive among these are street fighter, sonic and streets of rage and many more. It was these games that set a kind of standard in the games industry as great games to play for all ages and also as great sellers.

these were the big games for the snes among these are, mario, megaman, puch-out and castlevania and a few others. These were the big sellers for SNES and were around for a long time and still are.

the history of video games began with a game called pong. Made by a company called Atari. This game was played with a little knob and you moved it up and down to hit the little ball past the other little stick and if you do then you get a point. The game was produced in 1972.
